(1968) Tactical Weapons Meet , Jever (Germany), June 1968

Fliegerhorst Jever in Northern Germany hosted the 1968 NATO Tactical Weapons Meet
from 10 to 21 June 1968.
Participating units were :
(1) 2 ATAF
– R.Neth.AF ( F-104G Starfighter , 311/312 squadron from Volkel)
– Belgian AF (F-104G Starfighter , 10th Wing from Kleine Brogel)
– Royal Air Force Germany (Canberra , 16 sq. from Laarbruch)
– Luftwaffe (F-104G Starfighter , JBG31 and JBG33 from Nörvenich and Büchel)
(2) 4 ATAF
– Royal Canadian AF (CF-104G Starfighter , from Bad-Söllingen)
– Luftwaffe (Fiat G-91R , LeKG42 from Pferdsfeld)
– USAFE (F-4D Phantom II , 50th TFW from Hahn)
– USAFE (F-100D Super Sabre , 48th TFW from Lakenheath , U.K.)
(3) Guest Team
– French AF (F-100D Super Sabre , Escadre de Chasse 11 from Toul-Rosières)
Over-all winners of the Meet were the teams of 4 ATAF.
