The motto of the 1998 BAF airshow at Kleine Brogel AB (that took place on 5 September and which was visited by Hans and Frank) was “20 Years F-16 Fighting Falcon”; and indeed the organizers managed to bring together a huge number of F-16s. The programme brochure said it: “For sure we can give you a rendez-vous for the next F-16 anniversary, maybe in the year 2018!” .
