In July 1991 Hans paid a two-day visit to Koksijde at the Belgian coast (one overnight stay included). Primarily he visited nearby Koksijde Air Base both as an aircraft-spotter outside the fences (see elsewhere on the site) and to visit the Open Day on the 6th of July. Highlights were the presence of a USAF Rockwell B-1 bomber and of course – since Koksijde is a helicopter base- of
a number of interesting choppers. This gallery is a choice of the pictures he took . Be aware that seven of them are spotting images taken from outside the base during the Open Day.
