The National Aviation Museum was established in 1960 as the Aeroplanorama at the old Schiphol/Amsterdam AP. After having been closed for four years it reopened its doors to the public in 1971 at the new Amsterdam-Schiphol AP , now called Aviodome Museum. Finally it moved to Lelystad AP in 2003 and its name was changed in Aviodrome Museum .It houses a fine collection of historic aircraft , both of civil and military origin.Hans visited the museum several times, but these impressions date from August 2011 and November 2012.
