In September 1988 it was 35 years ago that 306“reconnaissance“squadron of the K.Lu. came into operation.
A number of colleague-pilots – also from abroad – came to Volkel Air base to attend the party and to congratulate.
Curious about which aircraft would be arriving , Hans also drove to Volkel on September 15th , provided with camera -equipment . These are the pictures he took on the spot.
